There Is Only One True Scriptural Faith

People today select their faith based upon a number of prerequisites, such as location, social climate, family, teachings, etc. Some even pick and choose to observe whatever religious observances their heart feels right about. Rather than putting their trust in the Word of Yahweh, and following its instruction, they seem to believe they can rely on their heart and their own understanding.

  • Proverbs 28:26, He that trusts in his own heart is a fool.
  • Proverbs 14:12, There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end of it is the way of death.
  • Proverbs 12:15, The way of a fool is right in his own eyes.
  • Proverbs 3:5, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and lean not upon your own understanding.

Relying on your heart or your own understanding is unscriptural. The Spirit of Yahweh would not lead you to believe such a thing! The Scriptures are for our learning so we can know how to behave in the One True Faith.

Romans 15:4, For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the Scriptures, we might have hope.

1 Timothy 3:14-15, These things I write to you, hoping to come to you shortly, but if I stay long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of Yahweh, which is the Assembly of the living Elohim, the pillar and ground of the truth.

I have had people tell me it is unimportant how they observe the faith “because Yahweh knows my heart.” While that statement may be true—that Yahweh knows the heart of man—there is no scriptural teaching for man to rely on his own heart. How to Become a Part of the One True Faith Do the Sacred Scriptures confirm there is only One Faith? Ephesians 4:4-5 (in pertinent part): "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you were called in one hope of your calling, one Master, one faith, one baptism, one El and Father of all...."

One faith? If it is true that there is only one faith, how do we determine the observances of the One True Faith? Do the Scriptures teach we can observe whatever faith we want? Can we go to any congregation as long as there are good people there who mean well? Will a good heart and good intentions get the individual into the Millennial Kingdom with Yahshua?

These are all very important questions for the True Worshipper. The truth that will be brought out in this writing may offend and astound some, but a remnant will rejoice to possess this understanding. In this writing, the One True Faith will be referred to as the Way, meaning how the Patriarchs, Yahshua Messiah and His disciples worshipped Father Yahweh. The Apostle Paul persecuted the followers of the Way. Acts 22:4, "And I persecuted this Way to the death, blinding and delivering into prison both men and women."

Before Paul’s conversion, Paul openly states that he persecuted the converts who were following the Way taught by Yahshua the Messiah. After Paul’s conversion, Paul had this to say: Acts 24:14, "But this I confess to you, that after the Way, which they call a sect, so I serve the Elohim of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and are written in the law and the prophets."

Paul started observing this Way which the Pharisees called a sect. He observed this Way by believing all things written in the Law and the Prophets. We find additional references to the Way in Acts 19:23.

This Way, taught by the Messiah, and observed by Him, is not Judaism, and it has no resemblance whatsoever to Christianity! Christianity does not follow the example the Messiah provided for us, which He manifested by His worship.

1 Peter 2:21, "For to this were you called, because the Messiah also suffered for you, leaving you an example that you should follow in His steps."

1 John 2:6, "He that says he remains in Him ought himself also to walk as He walked."

How are we to follow in His steps, and walk as He walked? What a wonderful concept. Instead of debating scriptural meanings or interpretations, we can simply look to the Way the Messiah walked and then follow His steps. The instructions provided by these two scriptures wipe away a plethora of false doctrines.

So, exactly what does it mean to follow in His steps? Allow me to share a personal experience that addresses this issue. In 2007, in a meeting with a fellow clergyman, I made the statement that “my faith is based upon 1 Peter 2:21, that Yahshua is my example and I follow in His steps.” The Chaplain responded, “I know that scripture. I believe we all try to follow His example and follow in His steps.” I responded, “Churchianity today does not follow His example. With their lips they profess love for Him; however, they do not follow in His steps.” He sat up in his chair, obviously perturbed, and challenged me by asking, “What do you mean by that?” I started by asking him, “Did the Messiah observe a 7th day Sabbath or a 1st day Sabbath?” He responded, “The Messiah observed the 7th day. But we observe the 1st day because of the resurrection.” I interrupted him and politely said, “Let’s not address the why just yet.” He agreed, so I continued, “Did the Messiah observe Passover or Easter?” The Chaplain responded, “The Messiah observed Passover throughout His life.” I asked, “Which one does your congregation observe?” He responded, “We observe Easter.” I continued, “Did the Messiah eat the unclean foods such as swine, or did He eat only the scripturally clean food?” His head bowed slightly as he stated, “The Messiah never ate anything unclean.” I asked, “Does your congregation eat scripturally unclean foods such as swine?” He sat back in his chair and with a furrowed brow answered, “Yes, we eat the scripturally unclean foods.”

Then I said, “Let’s recap for a moment.” I could see he was deep in thought about all the teachings he had learned as a clergyman. I continued, “The Messiah gave us the example of observing the 7th Day Sabbath, yet your congregation observes the 1st Day as Sabbath. The Messiah gave us the example of observing Passover, yet your congregation observes Easter. The Messiah observed His Father’s clean food laws, yet your congregation eats unclean food.” I asked, “Did the Messiah observe all His Father’s statutes, judgments, commandments and ordinances?” In a very serious tone he said, “Of course, He did. That is what made Him sinless.” I asked, “Does your congregation observe the statutes, judgments, commandments and ordinances?” He said, “No, we do not.”

Continuing with my questioning, I asked, “Did the Messiah observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Feast of Tabernacles?” He nodded in the affirmative. I asked, “Does your congregation observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement or the Feast of Tabernacles?” He nodded in the negative.

I said, “Chaplain, it  appears that, for all intents and purposes, your congregation does not follow Messiah’s examples or walk as He walked.” He finally said, “I get the point.” I could tell he was sincere. He said, “I can see how we honor Him with our lips by following the traditions of men. I never looked past the things I learned in the seminary. I just assumed that the things I learned were the truth. I never questioned them. I can say, however, that what we do in our church, we do with good intentions.”

I responded, “Chaplain, I am sure that is true; however, as they say, “the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions.” We are not destroyed as a people because we have bad intentions. Neither are we destroyed because we lack love, courage, patience or faith. We are destroyed because we lack knowledge.

Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to Me. Seeing you have forgotten the law of your Elohim, I also will forget your children."

He smiled at me and said, “Now scriptures like Malachi 3:6, which says Yahweh does not change, and Hebrews 13:8, which says Yahshua is the same yesterday, today and forever, make much more sense. I never tried to wrap my mind around the fact that we are observing a completely different faith than Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Yahshua and His Disciples.”

I said, “Chaplain, I am proud to know a man of Yahweh! Most people will defend their wrong doings to the end, refusing to convert and obey.” He smiled again and my heart was filled because I felt assured that he was going to start following Yahshua’s example.

So, where and when did Churchianity get off on the wrong track? Getting the correct answer to this question is imperative for a proper understanding. The pure faith of the Way historically died out about 100 A.D. with the death of the last Disciple—John. You may be surprised to learn that the sect of followers of Yahshua the Messiah was not referred to as Christians. In the Book of Acts, we find them referred to as Nazarenes. (Note: these Nazarenes have nothing to do with the Church of the Nazarenes.)

Acts 24:5, "For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of insurrections among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ring leader of the sect of the Nazarenes."

As the Apostolic Age came to a close (approximately 100 A.D.), the pure faith of the “Way” became non-existent. It seemed to enter into a dark tunnel, and when it came out the other side in about 325 A.D., it seems to have been replaced by a very unsettling and more Gnostic-than-scriptural religion. The obvious question is, what happened?

One of the reasons True Worship of the “Way” seemed to disappear from about 100 A.D. forward, may be attributed to the fact that these True Worshippers were hunted down and murdered by Domitian in 95 A.D., by Trajan in 98-117 A.D., by Hadrian in 117-138 A.D., by Antonius Pius in 138-161 A.D., by Marcus Aurelius in 161-180 A.D., by Septimius Severus in 193-211 A.D., by Maximin in 235-238 A.D., by Decius in 249-251 A.D., by Valerian in 253-260 A.D., and by Diocletian in 284-305 A.D. These men persecuted, tortured, beheaded and burned True Worshippers of the Way. It was a resolute, determined, systematic effort to abolish the Way and exterminate True Worshippers. We can expect this to occur once again before the end.

It is no secret the Apostles were replaced by converts from paganism. In Rome, Christianity was declared the religion of the State. Pagans came from all over the country, from various houses of pagan worship, to be baptized as required by law. After being baptized, the pagans returned to their pagan houses of worship and continued keeping their former pagan ways, but under a new name, i.e., Christians. You can rename paganism and call it Christianity, however, it is still paganism. If it walks and talks like a duck, it’s probably a duck. Romans 1:21-23, "...because that, knowing Yahweh, they did not glorify Him as Elohim, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible Elohim for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things."

Pagan religious systems were described as multi-headed beasts by the prophets. A multi-headed beast is called a chimera. A chimera represents a mixture or blend of different creatures. It is a metaphor, a symbolic illustration or association between two or more different subjects. Christianity is a chimera of many pagan religions mixed with biblical concepts, blended into a new form of religion. Christianity’s customs embrace Babylonian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman ceremonies. Most Christians listen, but do not personally research the Scriptures. They are unwittingly programmed by sound bites or short texts that steer their beliefs about many things, but these phrases are taken out of context and, when researched thoroughly, they are proven untrue.

Let’s consider some quotes from scholars. Brumback’s History of the Church states on page 53, “The Roman Emperor, by the office of Pontifex Maximus, directed all religious affairs. When Christianity became the State religion, Constantine [ruling 306-337 A.D.] assumed all of the authority in the church, which he had exercised as supreme director of paganism.”

As these pagans were supposedly converted to Yahshua, they possessed no true teachers to teach them the pure faith of the Way. It was extremely easy for them to continue in the strong influence of pagan practices and customs.

Halley’s Bible Handbook includes a section on church history entitled Paganization of the Church, which plainly details what happened since the time of Constantine. Note Halley’s comments: “Emperor Theodosius, 378-395 CE, made Christianity the State religion of the Roman Empire, and made church membership compulsory. This was the worst calamity that had ever befallen the Church. The forced conversion filled the churches with unregenerate people … But now the military spirit of Imperial Rome had entered the Church. The Church had conquered the Roman Empire, but in reality, the Roman Empire had conquered the Church, by making it into the image of the Roman Empire … The Imperial Church of the 4th and 5th centuries became an entirely different institution from the persecuted church of the first three centuries. In its ambition to rule, it lost and forgot the Spirit of [Messiah]. Worship, at first very simple, was developed into elaborate, stately, imposing ceremonies having all the outward splendor that had belonged to heathen temples.”

On page 867 of Halley’s Bible Handbook, we find: “Conversion of the Barbarians. The Goths, Vandals, and Huns who overthrew the Roman Empire accepted Christianity, but to a large extent, their conversion was nominal, and this further filled the Church with pagan practices.”

Can you begin to see how Christianity became a chimera and how the mixture occurred? Easter bunnies, Easter eggs, reindeer, mistletoe, yule logs, Santa Claus, May poles, Sunday worship, etc., have been mixed into pure worship. This “mixture” has caused massive damage to sound doctrine. False teachings now surround almost every aspect of our faith.

Another term for this mixture is syncretism. It is the merging of pagan practices with Biblical truth.  Historians attest to the change, however, most every Christian is oblivious to these historical facts, or else they are so comfortable with the mixture, they just do not want to embrace the truth.

The Oxford Illustrated History of Christianity, commenting on the widespread infusion of pagan influence into Christianity states on page 84: “The ‘opaque’ areas of experience, of institutions and daily living, if they had not disappeared by [Pope] Gregory’s time had become absorbed into a Christian universe as translucent parts. In principle, there was nothing that could not be absorbed into the radical Christian world.” Please read that again!

After the death of Moses, Israel failed in driving out the inhabitants of Canaan, tolerated the pagans, married them, and absorbed their heathen worship and practices. The pagan nations were still in the land at the time of David and Solomon, and were a snare to them. Eventually, the false religions of the world so corrupted the Chosen People that Yahweh divorced them spiritually.

History repeated itself centuries later after the Messiah left His disciples and returned to the heavens. The first disciples were all Israelites, as were the first bishops. Yahshua our Redeemer came to bring us the pure faith of Yahweh, teaching us to follow His example instead of carnal human understanding or the traditional observances of men.

Historically, we see that Christianity rejected the Hebrew religion, which led to a despising of the Mosaic Law given by Yahweh (Revelation 22:14). Instead, it tolerated and absorbed pagan customs and teachings in flagrant violation of hundreds of scriptures!

To quote again from the Oxford Illustrated History of Christianity, page 85, “Baptism turned a pagan into a Christian … What constituted a ‘pagan’ was a matter of definition by clerical authority; in practice, it meant what evaded the bishop’s control. Gregory the Great’s decision that English converts to Christianity might continue to use their traditional places of worship, provided they were sprinkled with holy water, was a revolutionary extension of clerical tolerance, with momentous implications for later missionary activity.”

None of this changed the worship of the pagan. If he came to be sprinkled and then named a Christian, he would return to his place of worship and continue in his heathen idol-worshipping ways. Only now, he was called a Christian. This pagan practice of idol worship of Easter bunnies, Easter eggs, May poles, Santa Claus, Yule logs, mistletoe, reindeer, winter solstice, etc., has continued throughout the centuries, up to our day.

Paganism and many other worldly doctrines infiltrated the early body of believers and corrupted them. As more pagan converts became sprinkled “Christians,” they flooded the congregations with their traditional pagan practices that were mixed with scriptural teachings, which created a new creature/religion. This is how New Year’s, Xmas, Easter, Lent, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, and much more crept into the pure faith of the Way and supplanted Yahweh’s Holy Days! Study it for yourself. There is no teaching or foundation for any of these “Christian holidays” anywhere in the Bible. They are the concepts and doctrines of men, firmly embedded in Christianity through centuries of tradition and practice—not in Yahweh’s will for His people.

For the first century following Yahshua’s death and resurrection, there was a remnant of True Worshippers (John 4:23), who worshipped in Spirit and Truth, by following the teachings of Yahshua Messiah. This remnant still clung to the keeping of Yahweh’s Laws, continuing to meet in synagogues, as did Paul (Acts 13:14; 15, 42 & 14:1). Most groups took on Grecian culture and Hellenistic customs and were simply called “Christians.” They easily abandoned the pure faith and incorporated Greek notions and ways. Accepting Christianity for the pagan was made easy. For him, his old ways remained the same, only the name had been changed.

In his book, Hellenistic Religions, Luther H. Martin reveals the transformation of the pure faith to paganism. He states on pages 118-119, “One of the first issues to be debated by Christians was whether they were a new religion … These early Jewish Christians understood Christianity in terms of its Jewish past and they continued their observance of Jewish ritual practices exemplified by dietary requirements...” Then, on page 162 he states, “...and by the second century, Christianity had assumed many of the forms and practices of the mystery cults.”

In Brumback’s History of the Church, referring to the beginning of the true Assembly at Pentecost in 31 C.E., he states on page 19: “In it (the true Assembly), practices that are common in the religious world today were not found.” Brumback explains that the early Assembly did not celebrate the holidays observed by most of Christianity today. Then follows an explanation of the pagan source of Lent. “The word Lent is derived from the old English word Lencten which means spring. It was connected with a pagan feast that was celebrated in honor of the goddess ‘Ostra,’ the goddess of the east. The sacrifices to this deity were offered just about the time of the Passover and, in this way, it became associated with the resurrection of [Messiah] which followed the Jewish Passover.” Then on page 20: “Not until the Council of Nicea (325 C.E.) decreed that Easter should be kept on Sunday next after the full moon, on or after the vernal equinox, was there a definite day for the observance of Easter. Here is evidence that it was of human origin, as it was not known until after the fourth century just when Easter would be.”

Easter is not a Biblical celebration. The word is found in one version of the King James Bible, in Acts 12:4; however, this word was pascha in the Greek and literally means Passover. The word Easter in Acts 12:4 is a woeful mistranslation, which has deceived many. Brumback goes on to state clearly about Easter that “certainly no such day is authorized by the teaching of the Apostles.”

Furthermore, Brumback states on page 21: “What brought these changes about? Why did disciples submit to having these days set apart as special days for the church? The answer is found in the failure of those who were the people of [Yahweh] to know what [Elohim’s] Word taught. Lack of this knowledge made it possible to introduce new doctrines and new practices into the teachings of the church. The apostasy of the church and the corruption of the [evangel] resulted from neglect of the church to study [Yahweh’s Word].”

The Christian Church today is destroyed for lack of knowledge. They will not be destroyed for lack of love, or faith, or courage, but for the lack of knowledge. How many Christians today knowingly practice paganism? I can tell you that they have no idea. They truly are blind sheep. They do not knowingly practice paganism!!! However, unknowingly, they are completely absorbed into pagan practices.

Hosea 4:6 (as quoted previously): My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you, that you be no priest to Me: seeing you have forgotten the law of your Elohim, I also will forget your children.

Brumback states on page 31: “In the beginning, the church was pure. The divine plan of the church as revealed in the New Testament was followed. Now the apostasy of which the Apostles warned, began to develop.” Then on page 54: “Christianity in its purity was thus destroyed by paganism.”

Widespread neglect of the Old Testament meant that Christian converts were not schooled in the Old Testament and were ignorant of the Israelite background and books of Moses. They simply accepted the Greek Septuagint as their source of Old Testament teachings, but knew little and understood even less of the Feasts and the deep meanings of them. They had no understanding that Yahweh’s Plan of Salvation is found in the foundations and principles of His Feasts.

Meyer’s Medieval and Modern History states on page 42, “Many of our religious ideas, festivals and ceremonies, as witness Easter and Christmas, may be traced back to an origin in the practice and belief of our heathen ancestors.”

Thus, pagan converts felt right at home as they retained their worship of the sun on Sunday, observed by the re-birth of the sun in December when the days begin to get longer, and called it not, “Sol-Invictus,” but “Christmas.”

If Judaism and Christianity had not done what they both respectively have done in corrupting truth and establishing new religious falsehoods, we may not have the anti-Biblical sentiment we have today.

Judaism has also added a plethora of man-made traditions, while Christianity embraced paganism and most all of its ceremonies, with the exception of human sacrifice. Both Judaism and Christianity mixed their falsehoods with Scripture, creating new religions. Both Judaism and Christianity are chimeras because of their syncretism, i.e., mixtures.

When first given to mankind, the Holy Scriptures were inspired by Yahweh’s Spirit. They were pure, holy and undefiled. But problems began when translations were made from one language to another and men possessed the opportunity to add their influence. Our English Scriptures, for example, are taken primarily from the Latin, which was translated from the Greek, which was translated from the Hebrew, with much being lost or corrupted along the way. This is why it should be our goal to return as closely as possible to the original Hebrew. Through what is known as syncretism, pagan doctrines were merged with Scriptural teachings and were blindly accepted in good faith as if it was Scripture. Thus, the Way of our Messiah has been adulterated with paganism.

Israel was guilty of straying from the pure worship throughout the Scriptures. They seemed to repeatedly gravitate to the drunken festivals of the pagans and their gods and goddesses. Our Scriptures identify this as “harlotry.” It is Scriptural adultery—scriptural fornication. They strayed from Yahweh’s statutes, judgments and commandments and stopped taking heed to Yahweh, following after pagan tradition. Hosea 4:10, "And they shall eat, and not have enough, they shall play the harlot and shall not increase, because they have left off taking heed to Yahweh." Jeremiah 2:20, "For of old time I have broken your yoke, and burst your bonds, and you said, 'I will not serve,' for upon every high hill (church) and under every green tree you bowed yourself, playing the harlot."

Look what Yahweh has to say to the nation of Israel!

Jeremiah 3:1, "They say, if a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him, and becomes another man’s, will he return to her again? Will not that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the harlot with many lovers, yet return again to Me, says Yahweh."

How did the nation of Israel play the harlot with many lovers? The House of Israel consisted of the 10 Northern tribes. However, the House of Judah, the two Southern tribes, also started observing the festivities of gods and goddesses!

Jeremiah 3:8, "And I saw, when for this cause, that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and had given her a bill of divorcement, yet treacherous Judah her sister feared not, but she also went and played the harlot."

Take notice, Israel’s backsliding was called adultery and Judah did the same thing, which was called harlotry. Read Jeremiah 3:12-15, where Judah and Israel scattered their ways to strangers and failed to obey Yahweh’s voice. A mixture or blending occurred and Yahweh was not pleased. He promised shepherds to teach us knowledge and understanding, so as to put a stop to the harlotry.

Ezekiel 16:15-16, "But you trusted in your beauty, and played the harlot because of your renown, and poured out your whoredoms on every one that passed by, his it was. And you took your garments, and made for yourself high places (churches) decked with divers colors, and played the harlot upon them..."

Garments, in scripture, represent your acts. The fine linen are the righteous acts of the saints (Revelation 19:8), and high places represent houses of worship that were always built upon a hill.

The pagan festivals began in Babylon, spread through Egypt and Assyria, found throughout Rome, and are now prevalent in our congregations today. In Babylon, we find Nimrod and Semiramis as the source of these pagan practices. In Rome, we find Constantine and the Catholic Church as the major players maintaining these pagan practices. Today we have many Christian churches that have followed after the Mother Church, i.e., Semiramis, manifested and brought forth by the Catholic Church. We find the combination of Babylon, the Catholic Church and her daughters, the Christian churches, all mentioned together: "And upon her forehead a name written, Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of the Harlots and the Abominations of the Earth" (Revelation 17:5).

The harlots are all the Christian churches that have followed after the Great Mother of Babylon, i.e., the mother church of Catholicism. These harlots adopted Xmas, Lent, Valentine’s day, Sunday worship, etc. We are commanded by the Word of Yahweh to come out of Babylon, so we do not partake of her plagues. Revelation 18:4, "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, 'Come forth, My people, out of her, that you have no fellowship with her sins, and that you receive not her plagues.'”

Remnants of Babylon Still Evident Today

Our sisters and brothers in Christianity are completely unaware that the ceremonies and festivities they are observing in their churches are of Babylon!!! They need to come out of her and have no fellowship with her. But the majority do not have eyes to see, nor will they choose to walk away.

The empires described in Daniel 2:31-45 reveal that each successive empire, not only practiced their own form of Gentile religion, but they were continually amalgamating the religions of the other nations into their own. This produced a confusing mixture of religious faith and tradition.

In these latter times, there is a syncretism of the Faith of Yahshua into this paganistic mixture. This is an abomination upon which the worst wrath and punishment is to be poured out. It is a mystery religion—a mixture of Gentile, paganistic, heathenistic, and lawless practices.

Revelation 14:8, "And another, a second angel, followed, saying, 'Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.'”

Fornication? Yes! It is harlotry, which is spiritual adultery! The wine is the false doctrine the Catholic church has given for all nations to drink. In Revelation 16:19, Yahweh pours out a fierceness of His wrath upon her.

The “mystery” we see in Revelation 17:5 is the same “mystery of iniquity” Paul writes about in 2 Thessalonians 2:7. The counterpart to Babylon is the papal Church of Rome. Both of these scriptural passages refer to the same system. The Mother church gets her original identity from the mother/wife of Nimrod, i.e., Semiramis. Nimrod is known as the founder of Babylon. When Nimrod’s father died, Nimrod married his mother. In the book, The Two Babylons, by Alexander Hislop, page 5, Semiramis is thus described, “That beautiful but abandoned queen of Babylon was not only herself a paragon of unbridled lust and licentiousness, but in the “Mysteries” which she had a chief hand in forming, she was worshipped as Rhea, the great “Mother” of the gods with such atrocious rites as identified her with Venus, the Mother of all impurity, and raised the very city where she had reigned to a bad eminence among the nations, as the grand seat at once of idolatry and consecrated prostitution.”

Semiramis was a beautiful whore who married her son Nimrod and had a child by him by the name of Tammuz. This whore is known by numerous names down through history, such as, Ishtar, Astarte, Ashtoreth, Ashtorah, Queen of Heaven, Venus, and most repugnantly, Virgin Mary. She is also referred to as Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots, and the Mother Church. She is the fertility goddess, hence the Easter eggs and bunnies as symbols of fertility. The worship of the Virgin Mary in the Catholic Church is, in reality, the worship of Venus, Ishtar, Astarte, Ashtorah, Ashtoreth and the Queen of Heaven, i.e., Semiramis.

The Catholic Church, aka Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots, created Christianity in the early centuries. All of the Christian churches of today have spawned from Rome in the early centuries. However, today we find numerous Christian churches denouncing the Catholic religion. This is a good thing because the harlots of the Great Mother are the Christian churches. Christianity, when practiced by observing all of its pagan mysteries and pagan holidays—Xmas, Easter, etc.—is harlotry. The scriptures that pertain to harlotry are about you, if you are a Christian. There is no greater deception!!! John the Revelator was astonished when he saw what Yahshua showed him. Satan truly has deceived the world. The religious masses have no idea of these truths.

l19 chart 1

Let’s take a look at the observances of the Way versus the observances of Christianity, which came from Babylon through Rome and Catholicism.

~ The Way is the true faith—the way Yahshua and the disciples lived and worshipped Yahweh, including Paul (Acts 24:14).

~ The Way is the example Yahshua gave us. In 1 Peter 2:21, Yahshua states that we should follow in His steps.

~ The Way is the same faith given to the Patriarchs, lived by Yahshua, and passed on to us today.

~ The Way is the same yesterday, today and forever, just as Yahshua is. Hebrews 13:8, "Yahshua the Messiah, the same yesterday, today and forever."

Jeremiah 6:16, “'In this manner,' says Yahweh, 'stand in the way and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way and walk in it, and you shall find rest for your souls,' but they said, 'We will not walk in it.'”

The old paths have been breached by paganism. It is the True Worshipper’s duty to repair the breach by living and teaching the Way.

Isaiah 58:12, "And they that shall be of you shall build the old waste places, you shall raise up the foundations of many generations, and you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in."

Those of you that come out of Babylon (Christianity) and restore the Way therein, repairing the breach and restoring the old paths, will be called “the repairers of the breach” and “the restorers of the paths.”

Be of great courage, because your greatest persecution may come from Christianity! However, you will also save many from Christianity. Many do not have eyes to see or ears to hear. But there will be those who will see and who will hear. Truth, once heard, is like a little seed that takes hold in the heart, and, in time, grows and becomes self-evident.

The “mystery of iniquity” is a religious system that has proclaimed that Yahweh’s laws have been done away, and has paganized the very worship of our Creator!

The Gentiles and pagan nations were without Yahweh’s law. Their religious practices were paganistic and heathenistic. They lifted up creations, like trees, bunnies, reindeer, etc., instead of the observances of the living Mighty One. This is wickedness. The workers of iniquity (lawlessness—without law) will be cast out of Yahweh’s Kingdom (Luke 13:23-28).

Keep in mind always, that our brothers and sisters are steeped in Christianity. They include our families and loved ones. If we are to reach them with these truths, we need to do so with love and longsuffering. We must show the patience of the saints we are to be. We must stand firm in not observing any paganism they may be a party to, yet do so without arrogant judgment or accusation. We must keep in mind that a scorned brother will be very hard to reach. We need to lead by example, not by speech alone. Fervent prayer is your greatest weapon.

What Is Cognitive Dissonance?

Sometimes, we are faced with truths that are not in line with our present convictions. These truths may cause a conscious disturbance that we instinctively want to relieve. Professor Festinger from the University of Southern California was the first to write about this and named the theory, “cognitive dissonance.” The word cognitive references a person’s consciousness, and the word dissonance refers to a disturbance. The theory of “cognitive dissonance” is, then, a conscious disturbance. However, he wasn’t the first to recognize or employ its principles. Mind controllers since time immemorial have recognized “cognitive dissonance.”

A conscious disturbance may be relieved by a simple, “I don’t believe it,” or leaving the discussion, or even exhibiting violent behavior. Each person can react differently to relieve the disturbance. In fact, we should all want to know the truth, whether or not we like it, and whether or not it makes us uncomfortable. We should not makes decisions about our salvation based upon ignorance, but make decisions based upon knowledge.

The theory of cognitive dissonance is important to understand when dealing with loved ones. We should plant seeds and bring them along slowly, otherwise they may choke on the meat. The truths contained in this writing may be outside of some people’s reality. These truths may cause a conscious disturbance. If you want others to be able to digest this information so they can make an appropriate determination of the facts, remain firm and concise, but most of all, be respectful and loving.

For the past two millennia, from the death of the Apostles to today, the truth that was lived and taught by them has been submerged into pagan influences which crept into the New Testament assembly. In these last days, just prior to the return of the Messiah, all peoples will be able to learn the true message which was taught by Yahshua, the Patriarchs and the Apostolic fathers. This pure worship of the Way is an extension of the faith practiced by Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

A True Worshipper of the Way is not a Jew, most of whom deny that Messiah has come. Neither is a True Worshipper of the Way a Christian, with its plethora of pagan and heathen observances. When a True Worshipper begins to follow and obey the Scriptures wholeheartedly, without reservation—both Old and New Testaments—an entirely different faith emerges, which our Savior called “true worship” in John 4:23.

Yahshua asked a question in Luke 18:8 about whether or not He would find the faith at His second coming. He wasn’t inquiring hypothetically about whether there would be people who believed in a Savior or who believed in a particular version of the Bible. He was referring to those of the Way—a body of believers who would be following His example, who would be observing the principles of worship that He observed. Or will Satan have “Bible believers” blindly practicing some “mystery” religious mixture that is foreign or even in opposition to true worship?

True Worshippers have two characteristics by which we can identify them.

Revelation 14:12, "Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of Yahweh, and the faith of Yahshua."

Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon became exceedingly angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, that keep the commandments of Yahweh, and hold the testimony of Yahshua."

The True Worshipper of the Way will keep the laws of the Father and possess the faith of the Son. Is this you? Are you keeping the commandments of the Father and the faith of the Son? For every truth Yahweh and Yahshua have brought forth, the devil has created a counterfeit. Here is a partial list (left) which may open your eyes. One side is the precious faith we are exhorted to contend for in Jude 3. The other is Babylon. They are almost exact opposites or perversions of the truth. The names, Yahshua the Messiah and Jesus Christ, are very different. They do not sound alike, they are not spelled alike, they do not mean the same, and they are not the same Messiah.

Jesus Christ was born Christmas day, December 25, during the winter solstice. Yahshua was probably born in the seventh scriptural month, during the Feast of Tabernacles. Jesus died on Good Friday, remained in the grave one and a half days, and rose Sunday morning. Yahshua died on a Wednesday, just before sunset, remained in the grave three days and three nights, just as Jonah did in the belly of the big fish, and rose on Saturday (the Sabbath) just before sunset. Read your scriptures!

Jesus is associated with Easter. Yahshua is associated with Passover, and is our Passover Lamb. Jesus nailed all his father’s laws to a cross. Yahshua kept them all and commands us to do the same. Jesus was crucified on a cross. Yahshua was impaled on a tree or stake. Worshippers of Jesus gather to worship him on the day of the sun—Sunday. Worshippers of Yahshua gather on the 7th day Sabbath.

“Babylon” seeks to set up a counterfeit to construct a parallel to True Worship. Just as Hezekiah , we need to declare that there is only one true faith on the face of the earth. The general practice was to pronounce approval of pagan idolatry and then incorporate it into the Christian’s observances. Such an amalgamation of pagan observance was meant to unify the people of different beliefs. It’s amazing that the faith practiced in Christian churches today clearly resembles the ancient pagan sun worship of Baal religion! The worship of the ancient Middle Eastern mighty one—Baal—dominates Christian practice without them even being aware of these facts. Most are under the false impression that Christianity converted the pagan. Nevertheless, anyone who employs a close scrutiny of history will see and finally understand that the exact opposite has occurred!

It is not unusual that the Bible refers to people as sheep, because they follow after one another without ever questioning why. People are heavily influenced by their peers or family, and they follow their herd instinct. Should we not open our eyes and begin to question why we observe the things we do, or question the true source of our observances, especially those associated with the worship of our Heavenly Father? We are commanded not to observe the ways of the pagan nations, so why would we continue once we discover it is wrong? Our Bible, the Word of Yahweh, commands us to come out of Babylon so that we will not partake of her sins and receive of her plagues (Revelation 18:4).

In His Word, Almighty Yahweh has given us instructions regarding the way we should live our lives. He has laid down a pattern which He wishes us to follow so we can receive His blessings. But it appears man thinks he knows better than Yahweh. Man has corrupted pure worship so much that it is hardly recognizable today.

Do you follow after the pure faith and the truths of Yahweh, or have you unimaginably been deceived by Satan into following after the counterfeits? Do you have the courage to convert and come out of Babylon? May it be so!
