Unity Conference

   Each year, generally the first full weekend in August, there is a Unity Conference held for primarily the sacred name organizations (along with many individuals). The location rotates between Rocheport, Missouri; Michigan; Texas; and Illinois. You may find reports, as well as slide shows, when available.    The first month of Yahweh's new year has been confirmed by the finding of green ears of barley AND the new moon sighted Thursday evening, March 7th.

   Further information: Elder Solomon Meyer and others who have been in Israel for the first week in March, have posted pictures and reports of the barley in Israel. Elder Meyer has a degree in agriculture, and has been going to Israel for at least 15 years to learn how to determine the correct stage of the barley to be able to confirm in which month Passover occurs! We trust his judgment. As of Thursday evening, March 7th, we've read of many others who have confirmed the "green ears" of barley. This is important because Deut. 16:1 says, "Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to Yahweh your Elohim..." There are two critical words to study here: observe (look for) and Abib (green ears). So again, we are commanded to keep the Passover in the month in which green ears occur, on the 14th day of the first new month!
